Sangria

2 mins read

Introducing the “Summer Sangria.” This sangria is anything but ordinary. It’s a bold mix of red wine and fruity juices, with a dash of brandy and triple sec for that extra ‘oomph.’ The sliced fruit? That’s just us showing off. And the optional sparkling water? That’s for when you want to feel fancy. So go ahead, and give this spi-say concoction a whirl. It’s the perfect drink when summer’s too short for anything blah.

Serves 1-2 people, or just you if you’re not into sharing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of red wine
  • 1/2 cup of blackberry brandy
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice

  • 1/2 orange, sliced
  • 1/2 apple, sliced
  • Club soda or sparkling water (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple

  2. Add the sliced fruit, frozen mango, and frozen pineapple, and stir to combine.
  3. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, or overnight if you can resist the temptation.
  4. Serve the sangria over ice and top with a splash of club soda or sparkling water, if desired.
  5. Enjoy responsibly, or don’t. We’re not your mom (unless your name is Nomegla).
